Mommy-Daughter Baking Day

Ok so I went to speak to the teens (high schoolers) at my old school for their chapel service. More on that experience later this week. But when I got home later that morning, I walked in to seeing my wife and my daughter both in navy blue sweatshirts, blue jeans, and aprons working on baking some goodies. My daughter is only 3 so she was standing on a chair and very much wanting and trying to help with mommy's direction. What a cute sight. I was glad to see that my wife was teaching my daughter a woman's rightful place....the kitchen.....I AM ONLY KIDDING SO BEFORE YOU GET INFURIATED AND START THROWING THINGS AT THE SCREEN IN DISGUST.....IT WAS A JOKE!!! I couldn't help but laugh and I nearly got a bag of flour tossed at me when I choked as I tried to get that line out to my wife :-) Anyway, since this is a public blog I will not be posting family pictures here for safety sake, however, if you are one of our friends on Facebook, then you can see the pics of this very cute sight there.
By the way, thanks to the person who got her the apron that is just her size, it looked so cute on her and she was wearing it with such pride as she got her hands messy instead of her clothes!!! She loves having one of her own. Oh and the yummy treats they baked are quite yummmmy too!!!

a woman's place IS in the kitchen! I believe that whatever it takes a mom should be a mom. that is her job and the Bible gives the job description!
I try to teach Gabe to cook ...but he is too intersting it eating it! HAHA
